After announced the Galaxy S25, S35+ and S25 Ultra, Samsung teased its first XR headset by showcasing it in the press area.

It runs Android XR, which offers spatial computing. Apps appear in large windows in front of your eyes, and you can control them using your fingers. The headset potentially has two ultra-high-resolution OLED screens with a high refresh rate.

The new XR headset will probably have multiple cameras based on similar products. These cameras will record your eye and hand movements. They will also capture your surroundings. Your surroundings are relayed to you with low latency so that you feel free to walk around.

The headset may use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip, which has a six-core CPU (up to 2.4GHz), an Adreno GPU, and an ISP that can handle 12 cameras concurrently. The device has 16GB RAM, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7.

As for when I might go up for release, it’s possible that the headset will go on sale soon. It could happen before the end of this year.
